The Grateful Dead, Live at the West High Auditorium, June 19-21, 1980. Anchorage, Alaska.

Normally, I'll showcase one show but this is an exception. The Dead's first and only trip to Alaska, the boys play a killer stretch right through the Summer Solstice. One of my first tapes, the show from June 16 was my awakening. Love the Althea and Sailor>Saint. The Solstice show is considered the best show of the run; Jerry is ON that night. From a blazin' Sugaree to a poignant Brokedown Palace, this show is top notch.

Another solid run by the boys.

    Thanks .I use that website all the time to listen to pre 1972 shows.
