A call to arms, there will be a seriously bitchin fly tying event known as the Iron Fly coming to Minneapolis this weekend. The throwdown will take place at @mendprovisions following the @flyfishingfilmtour shows at the Parkway on Saturday Night. So come one come all. We are looking to mix it up at this event. Bring a fly tying material of your choosing to the event and be eligible to win some special prizes from @mountainkhakis that I will be giving away. F3T 2015 - Fly Fishing Film Tour Minneapolis

The F3T (Fly Fishing Film Tour) has announced it's 2015 schedule. The F3T and crew are stopping by Minneapolis on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Once again, they will be offering two screenings at this year's tour stop, with an early show at 4P and a late show at 8PM. Here's the info:

Pig Farm Ink Presents: IRON FLY! Minneapolis

Pig Farm Ink and Skinny Water Culture, along with Mend Provisions and Mountain Khakis, presents: IRON FLY!

Iron fly is a competition based around the same concept of Iron Chef. Fly tyers will brawl it out with mystery ingredients while trying to maintain their drinking tolerance. Are you game? The festivities take place following the F3T show on Saturday night at Mend Provisions.

Myself and Dan Frasier of CarpPro will be representing the dark side. Any other crafters of the force are encouraged to attend!


Just a reminder that the F3T shows in Minneapolis are fast approaching. If you haven't already procured a ticket hurry! Another show was added this year, but that still doesn't mean that they're safe from getting sold out. See you there!

F3T 2014 - Fly Fishing Film Tour Minneapolis

Once again, the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is making it's way through Minnesota this winter. Of special note, this year the film tour decided to add another night in Minneapolis! What does that mean? It means that all those folks who missed out on getting in on the sold out action the past few years should have a better shot of catching the Film Tour at least one of the nights this year. Of course, I know there will be folks that will be attending the show on both nights just for the social scene. I'll be there. Here're the details:
