Remember the brown antron special nymph I tied a while back? I suggest you fill your bugger barn with those bad boys as they are deadly. Certified buffalo slayers.

  3. Thanks for stopping by mike! The native fish like the buffalo and quillback are seldom discussed, and quillback are rarely caught by anglers, so many are not aware of their presence.


    pete, the buffalo is very similar to a carp. They are like trying to land an 18 wheeler with your rod, torquey as all hell with plenty of backbone. They can be quite the challenge to trick into taking a fly...
