It's been some time since I've been at the vise, at least long enough to notice a few cobwebs. Thanks to a recent shipment of "fritz", courtesy of Singlebarbed, and his recent delicious looking shad patterns, I had a little motivation at the vise. I adapted my Roughfisher Swimming nymph to an all white version. My guess is that warmwater species like the crappie, sunfish, and bass will get a little excited over this pattern. Leggo my eggo; I'm hoping to nail a few roughfish with it as well.

Rabbit tail with krystal flash, antron and angelina dubbed body, 6mm fritz thorax, and peacock herl wingcase. Silicone legs optional. I suppose if I could find some red colored bead chain I could have myself a perfect set of albinos. Time for a field trial.

Carp will like that for sure. I'm going to tie some up
ReplyDeleteI’ve always admired the way white bass can suddenly charge through the water, though I’d much rather deal with a school of aggressive fish than the high-altitude chaos of a storm-damaged canopy that requires the expertise of seasoned tree care professionals.
