rolling with the homies

If you like the Theme from the Bottom then you need the help of tungsten to get you down tight. On one of singlebarbed and the roughfisher's various quests for worldwide domination, we procured some wolfram from a covert Chinese supplier. I whipped up a few high density bugs to roll around on the bottom, in hopes of enticing a few redhorse and quillback.

  1. damn guy your a genius. Please hand over some of your jedi fly tying powers?

  2. first of all, i love the site, look at it everyday. i notice you use the same type of thorax dubbed body behind the bead a fair amount. any luck of a post on your methods?

  3. Kyle, the thorax is glimmer chenille that is palmered behind the bead twice. They sell the stuff at Sportsmans Warehouse and Troutsmen Outfitters in Woods Cross (I believe they supply SW with it). Next you're in SLC you should pick some up.

  4. I didn't know you were from Utah? Will you be at the wasatch tyers expo? If so, bring a large shirt I'll buy one from you.

  5. I'm not from UT, but my wife and in-laws used to live in Sandy. So I know my way around, a little ;) Great place; I need to go back to visit someday.
