It snowed yesterday hard and then rained here, I understand it's heading Colorado way, will it cross all the north and south alligned mountains? Those Buffalo intrique me. You fish for them I understand on the bottom often unsighted, do they also give you carp like shots? Do they feed as carp might? Are they in shoals or are they loners? I know they are bruisers on the rod. Cool.
@Gregg: I fish for them in both manners, blind and sight casting. They do feed on the bottom occasionally, though unlike the smallmouth buffalo, bigmouth buffalo will feed mid water column or even on the surface. I usually find them feeding in schools, though you might find the occasional loner to cast to.
You still have snow up there? You should come further south my friend.
