  • Spend habitat money where habitat is. Commentary on Twin Cities legislators' attempts to divert outdoor amendment dollars away from outstate projects, as recommended by the Lessard Outdoor Heritage Council.

  • Could St. Croix River become St. Crud? Steady pollution on the St. Croix River leads to gradual decline in water quality. River expected to be listed on a national top 10 list of endangered rivers by American Rivers.

  • Bowfishermen, feel free to take a bow. More fuel added to the fire. Bowfisherman want more lakes to night-hunt for roughfish. I see no objection to the measure if they would strictly limit their kill to carp. Unfortunately, the proposed lobbying would still allow the unnecessary killing of important native non-game fish species like buffalo, redhorse, and suckers.
