The roughfisher was away this weekend taking care of some family business. It would have been more glamorous to say that I was away at the outdoor retailer show or at one of the various fly show across the country. Unfortunately life is not always that exciting. Especially in the dead of winter in Minnesota. Crispy temps and a stiff breeze welcome you back home. Funny how just a few hours drive south can mean a whole 15 degrees warmer. It was a heatwave down there.
On the way home, I stopped by a retailer to see what they had left of their glimmer chenille stocks. I found a few cards left of olive, brown and black left, but to my disappointment, no peacock.
I think I've narrowed down the source for this fine product, and will be contacting the manufacturer/distributor this week to verify if indeed they are the purveyor of this miracle on a rope. At least I have a few new funky flavors to try out in the meantime.
This stuff is the bomb. You know you want it.
