Looks like a cool river. I'd like to fish moving water up north... can't believe I lived up there so long and only fished the lakes.

I see most of those fish are very dark in color, we don't have these in CA - is this the normal coloration - or are these still wearing their winter colors, and will lighten up a bit come summer?
Most of these fish are dark in color due to their spawning coloration, and the fact that the water is stained from all of the tamarac bogs upstream.They will ighten up a bit once spawning is done, which is just around the corner.
