Every year at about this time (Read: after May 1) this is a common sight. And for what? I just don't get it.
The significance of May 1st? The opening of taking roughfish by spear, harpoon, or archery. One day we will wake up to find out that all of Earth's viable resources have wasted, spoiled, and shriveled up and died. And surely, man will be to blame.
Too bad stupid isn't always a terminal illness...
ReplyDeleteI don't really care how people harvest fish for food (within legalities). But no fish deserves to rot on the bank.
No doubt about it there is nothing wrong with responsible harvest but kill and dump shows a blatant disrespect for life and nature. Sad.
ReplyDeleteI really want to know where you guys are from. Carp are a horrible fish for any body of water that have game fish in them. Yes I do fish for them with my fly rod and I will release those back to the water to be caught again another day. But I also love our annual trip to a lake in Montana when we put reels on our bows and go and shoot the crap out of them. Carp will devour a trout population in no time. It is the same as hunting, it is called Conservation.
ReplyDeleteHey fucknuts, thay is a white sucker, not a carp, and it is a native fiah that derserves the same respect as its gamefish brethren.
ReplyDeleteWell it was harvested legally so there is not much you can say about it.
ReplyDeleteHey anonymous, even if it was harvested legally, it is still ILLEGAL to leave a fish on the bank to rot. It's called WANTON WASTE. Look it up.
